Writer & Speaker

Through storytelling, I challenge perceptions of chronic illness and reveal the strength, purpose, and beauty that can emerge in life’s most difficult seasons.

“Resilience is not about having all the answers. It is learning to live meaningfully without them.”

About Me

Diagnosed with cancer at the age of 38, a lot of my life has revolved around it for the past few years. I refuse to be labeled as the “cancer patient” though, because there is so much more to me than just my disease. I used to be an athlete, I love to travel and learn new things, bookstores make me happy, I am a proud cat & dog mom, I worked as a business psychologist up until the day I couldn’t any longer. Now I write about my experience to inspire others.

For tomorrow my rain, so I’ll follow the sun is something Paul McCartney wrote when he was just a teenager. This quote has been my mantra for over 30 years because it’s the perfect way to say that focusing on the positive side of things is always the better choice.
